I don’t believe there’s anything to worry about. I held onto this book from one of the more decorative and displayed shelves earlier in my travels, do you really think the man would keep books on inappropriate subjects or torture in such open, non-private areas of the castle? Alexander might be an awful man, but he’s not an idiot. He may have lived most of his time in isolation from others, but from what I’ve read while exploring his castle the man has had people visit his establishment, aside from me, before. He wouldn’t be as sloppy as what you’re suggesting.
